“During these times, I worked reflectively, without haste or pause. Work for pleasure and need to do it in a constant inner search and in a playful way. Emphasizing the aesthetic, the graphic with textile interventions.
Although I come from a sculptural background, with reference to graphics I have moved from traditional to digital techniques.
In my work I continually mutate from the organic to the geometric, from the sensitive to the rigid, from the simple to the complex. Looking for balance and harmony, in Beauty. A work whose "evolution" occurs, thanks to the permanent feedback of what is experienced."
Life is not edited (Traces - 03/2023)
Tuesday March 21, 2023
I've just finished making a video of their ties in his natural environment, his park, his plants.
It was cloudy and the light was in my favor. I hung up the ties looking for a leafy corner in the park. I did not tidy them.
Suddenly a soft breeze turns into wind and the ties flutter. At that moment the emotion overwhelmed me, it was the perfect effect.
It is nature that gives me this moment, the intense wind makes them almost fly and then with a sharp blow, they fall.
I am surprise by working in this spontaneous way, the rawness of the result.
Working with emotions, life itself.
