Umbra (Art in the Origin - 09/2024)
Mastering darkness.
Light and darkness.
Overcoming time.
Fire and image.
Imagining and narrating.
Form and volume.
Shadow and movement.
Transcend to express.
To give signs of?
To forget the mechanicity of the register?
Intuition vs. precision?
Shrewdness?
Take advantage of the form.
Conscious practice.
Image - time.
Purity.
Silent art.
Gestures, drops, fingers and shots.
Threshold.
The photo-recording is the negation of experience.
To overcome emptiness or to deny emptiness?
Truth in the shadow?
Dazzle denial of discovery
To illuminate, to shade, to blind and to dazzle.
Ducks fly
Equivalences, shadows light.
I don't bother the ducks anymore.
I don't miss the zoom.
Will I remember the duck if I don't photograph it?
What will happen to me if I don't turn it into an accurate record?
The duck dives.
The cold becomes bearable.
Looking without hunting.
Collecting shadows and lights.
Does depth prevent glare?
There is no light inside us.
We manipulate light.
We use light.
We are not light.
To be luminous, what would it be?
Pretentious metaphor, envy of fireflies.
Shadow is not darkness, it is visual silence.
Darkness is relief from migraines, refuge from sleep and refuge from fear.
Not photos, visual notes.
