Stone and feather (NAT Art Residence (04/2024)
In the murmur of the sea and the whisper of the wind, the primal game emerges: a game that is born from the intimate connection with nature, without limits or instructions, only in the freedom to create.
This project dives into that corner of memory, where children's hands transformed leaves, stones, feathers and branches into imaginary worlds.
It is there, in the essence of simplicity, where art merges with nature and playful objects emerge as bridges between the earth and imagination.
Here it is not just about recreating games, but about resurrecting moments, rescuing moments that unite generations, recovering and enabling my inner child to immerse herself in the game, where imagination and curiosity flourish. And in her I summon the girl that was my grandmother, my mother, and my daughter, weaving a bond that connects the past and the present, and frees us through creation.
The materials I collect from the earth are not just objects, they are symbols of time and transformation. The stone, firm and resistant, and the feather, soft and delicate, intertwine as witnesses of history, reflecting the strength and fragility that we inhabit.
Lyrics of the song in the video
Stone and feather
You are daughter of the daughter
in the thread of foam
that leaves, that leaves the mist.
You are stone,
You are feather.
You have a hat
made of old cardboard
That tastes, that tastes like sweet alfajor.
You are stone,
You are feather.
You wear scribbles
And on your skin
you draw, you draw paper boats.
You are stone,
You are feather.
You keep your secrets
inside a fish
That swims, that always swims upside down.
You are stone,
You are feather,
You search in your hands
for rivers of crystal
And a sky, a sky to paint.
You are stone,
You are feather.
Daughter of the Daughter
fly to the moon.

Love Ritual (Traces - 07/2023)
Love ritual is transition from one way of being to another.
It is a celebration and healing ritual, it is a symbolic experience for survival, and finally it is the loving process of reconciliation with oneself.
Poems in the video
Love ritual
When the day reveals
the hidden shadows,
and the fire shelters
to the beating heart.
When the flowers
whisper their secrets,
and the birds
encourage you to fly.
Love,
When the tread is footprint
and the skin territory,
my presence
hug my body.
And there I am...
simply being.
